How to achieve world class fitness!!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

Well after all the training and racing I've finally injured myself. The injury is a deep muscle left calf pain. It's been bothering me off and on for about a month. After the 1/2 marathon on Sunday it tightened up and it's been hurting ever since. I still can't walk normal, actually Lisa says I walk like a drunken sailor. However, it hurts and I'm going to cut back on my biking and running for awhile to let it heal. I'll still be swimming but will back off the other two sports until the calf gets happy again. I'll keep you posted.

Have a great day!
